CHANEL has given me La Pausa to rebuild and restore, and I’m incredibly excited about that. Chanel’s newest location in Miami’s Design District. The Architecture of Chanel celebrates the partnership with an in-depth look into the luxury retail spaces at 16 Chanel buildings across the globe. Along with over 300 images, the book contains architectural plans, original sketches by Marino, and an introduction written by Pilar Viladas.
But the redesign and expansion by architect Peter Marino, completed last October, has channeled dozens of quiet cues from the brand, so lovers of Chanel will feel right at home. Here you will.
The new 4,170 sqf Chanel boutique, located in the heart of Soho, was inspired by the artistic feel of the neighborhood, and was designed to reflect its legendary spirit. The Architecture of Chanel is Marino’s oversized, richly illustrated new book with Phaidon. It highlights all 16 of the buildings born out of this alliance – around the world. The book features 300 stunning images, including architectural plans and original sketches by Marino.
